David Garcia

David Garcia has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. David started their career at Schlumberger as a Sr. Field Engineer from 2005 to 2008. David then worked at Oxy as a Drilling Engineer from 2008 to 2010, where they were responsible for well planning and directional drilling. David later transitioned to the role of Sr. Reservoir Engineer at Oxy from 2010 to 2015, where they developed Plans of Depletion and conducted reservoir surveillance. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Ryder Scott Co. LP, where they specialize in estimation, economic evaluation, and certification of reserves under SEC guidelines and SPE-PRMS definitions.

David Garcia completed their education in petroleum engineering. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, attending from 1997 to 2001.
