Melanie Adelman

Melanie Adelman is an experienced geologist with a strong background in geostatistical reservoir modeling and machine learning techniques. Currently serving as a geologist at Ryder Scott Co. LP since August 2020, Melanie previously held roles as an associate geologist and conducted master's thesis research at the University of Houston from September 2018 to December 2019, focusing on reducing uncertainties in earth modeling through advanced statistical methods. During a brief internship at Landmark Software Services in 2018, Melanie developed a method for real-time gamma ray data prediction. Prior experience as a geophysicist at Ocean Geo Solutions involved 3D seismic data mapping and evaluation of geological units. Melanie holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Houston, earned in 2019, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Geological and Earth Sciences from the same institution, completed in 2012.
