Tosin Famurewa has a diverse work experience in the petroleum industry. They started their career at Texaco as a Production Engineer from 2000-2001. They then worked at Chevron as a Reservoir Engineer from 2002-2004 and later transitioned to be a Petroleum Engineer/Lead Project Controls Engineer from 2004-2006. Famurewa then joined Ryder Scott Co. LP, where they held various roles including Senior Petroleum Engineer from 2006-2011, Vice President from 2011-2014, Senior Vice President - International from 2014-2018, Managing Senior Vice President - Group Leader from 2018-2023, and currently serve as the Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Famurewa served on the Houston Chapter Board of Directors for the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers from 2015-2018 and was a Council Member for the Mayor's International Trade & Development Council from 2008-2016.

Tosin Famurewa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Material Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California. Tosin attended Navy Secondary School but did not obtain a degree from there. In addition, Tosin has obtained certifications as a Licensed Engineer in Texas from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and as a Society of Petroleum Engineers Certified professional from the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
