Rett Varner

Rett Varner is an experienced professional in customer development and management, currently serving as a Customer Development Manager at Ryder System, Inc. since January 2016, overseeing a large portfolio of existing customers in the DFW metroplex. Varner has previously held roles at Ryder as a Rental Account Manager and Management Trainee, focusing on new business development and fleet management. Prior to joining Ryder, Varner competed as a Professional Athlete with the Miami Marlins, contributing to multiple championship victories and excelling in high-pressure situations. Varner also served as a Claims Associate at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions, where process improvements were implemented to reduce costs. An alumnus of The University of Texas at Arlington, Varner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
