Linda Carpenter

Linda Carpenter, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Corporate HR at Ryerson since September 2021. With extensive experience in human resources, Linda previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at Central Steel & Wire Co. from November 2014 to September 2022 and worked at Panduit as an HR Business Partner from July 2012 to October 2014. Prior roles include HR Business Partner and HR Director for global systems and compliance at Schawk, where responsibilities encompassed strategic HR support, legal compliance, and HR operations across multiple locations. Linda's earlier experience includes managing HR functions at Cintas and Nanophase Technologies. Linda holds a BA in English from Northern Illinois University and a Teaching Certification from Elmhurst University.
