Nicole Giesie

Nicole Giesie has extensive work experience in operations and logistics. Nicole started their career at Sun Chemical in 1995, where they held the position of Director of Operations/Master Black Belt until 2005. Nicole then joined Ryerson as the Director of Continuous Improvement, implementing a LEAN Six Sigma program throughout the company. From 2007 to 2016, they served as the Director of Operations at Ryerson, before being promoted to Sr. Director of Logistics - North America. In this role, they were responsible for the distribution and supply chain network of over 100 locations, managing a $200M transportation budget and a fleet of 400+ power units. Recently, they have been serving as the Vice President of Operations at Ryerson.

Nicole Giesie attended Michigan Technological University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
