Juan Carlos Mauras

Juan Carlos Mauras has extensive work experience in the technology and finance industries. Juan Carlos is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at RYLTY since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Virtu Financial as the Vice President of Product Strategy from December 2019 to February 2023. Juan Carlos also co-founded Tiger Digital LLC in December 2019, where they served as a Co-Founder until February 2021.

Before these roles, Juan worked at Fidessa as the VP of Business Development from October 2016 to December 2019. Juan Carlos also worked at Kepler Capital Markets, first as the VP of Alternative Execution Trading from January 2013 to October 2016, and then as the Product and Development Manager for Algorithmic Offering from May 2011 to June 2012. Juan Carlos briefly worked at quantarena as a CSA in June 2012.

Earlier in their career, Juan co-founded Vantage Capital in 2009 and worked at Fidessa as the Global Product Manager from August 1999 to September 2009. Overall, Juan has demonstrated expertise in technology, product strategy, business development, and algorithmic trading in the finance industry.

Juan Carlos Mauras earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Hamilton College between 1994 and 1998. Juan Carlos also completed a program in Software Engineering & Web Development at Fullstack Academy, where they studied until 2018. In addition to their formal education, Juan Carlos obtained certifications in IBM Blockchain Essentials from IBM in January 2018, and in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in August 2018.
