Amr Wahby Mahmoud

Amr Wahby Mahmoud is a seasoned professional in the Oil & Gas sector, currently serving as Vice President of Drilling & Wells for MENA at Rystad Energy since February 2023. In this role, Amr leads research and operational analysis for oilfield services and low carbon supply chains, providing market intelligence and consulting services. Prior to joining Rystad Energy, Amr worked at Halliburton from December 2016 to January 2023, where the roles progressed from Measurements and Logging Field Engineer to Senior Engineer. Earlier experience includes a position as Downhole Tools Engineer at National Oilwell Varco and an internship as a Drilling Tools Engineer. Amr holds a degree from Carleton University.
