Arne Gulbrandsen

Arne Gulbrandsen is a senior partner and chief commercial officer at Rystad Energy. Arne has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Arne began their career in 1991 as a software geoscientist at Geomatic. Arne then moved to Roxar in 1995, where they became region manager. In 2004, Arne joined SPT Group (now Schlumberger) as business area manager. Arne held this position for two years before joining Rystad Energy in 2006.

At Rystad Energy, Arne has played a key role in the company’s growth. Arne has helped the company expand its global reach and establish itself as a leading provider of energy data and analytics.

Arne Gulbrandsen obtained a M.Sc. in Geology and Mineral Resources Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Arne then went on to get an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Arne Gulbrandsen reports to Jarand Rystad, CEO. They work with Erik Wold - Senior Partner & Head of Technology, Nick Livingstone - Partner & Head of Americas, and Lars Eirik Nicolaisen - Senior Partner & Deputy CEO.
