Elliot Busby

Elliot Busby has a diverse work experience in various communication roles. Starting in 2012 as a Freelance Videographer for The Times and Foundation Scotland, they produced video podcasts and helped with rebranding projects. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Video Editor for Scottish Enterprise, creating promotional videos. From 2013 to 2015, Elliot founded Westview Productions and produced multimedia content for businesses. Elliot then gained experience as a Communications Assistant at the University of St Andrews, where they managed press releases and social media platforms. In 2016, Elliot worked as a Communications Consultant for Business Gateway Fife and completed website and digital development tasks. From 2017 to 2021, they joined KGBTexas Communications, starting as a PR Account Coordinator and progressing to Associate Account Executive and Account Executive, responsible for strategic communications plans. Most recently, Elliot has been working at Rystad Energy since 2021, starting as a Media Relations Manager and now as Head of Media Relations.

Elliot Busby attended Waid Academy from 2003 to 2009. Elliot then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Multimedia Journalism from Glasgow Caledonian University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
