Pratik Nayek, CEng MIMechE, is an experienced engineer who has worked in various roles and industries. Pratik is currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Projects at Ryze Hydrogen since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Mitsubishi Chemical Group as a Project Manager, where they provided engineering and project management support for a major chemical plant project in the USA. Pratik was responsible for developing the project execution strategy and overseeing the FEED/FEL 3 and EPC phases of the project.

Before joining Mitsubishi Chemical Group, Pratik worked at Air Liquide for several years. Pratik initially served as an Engineering Manager, overseeing project engineering and design engineering teams to ensure the successful completion of various engineering projects. Pratik also played a key role in developing the project execution strategy for industrial gas projects. Later, they took on the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they served as a technical expert for various segments of Air Liquide UK's business. Pratik was involved in design calculations, supplier supervision, and integrity assessments for cryogenic pressure vessels and pipelines.

Pratik's earlier experience includes working at Weatherford as a Mechanical Engineer in drilling, casing, well construction, and well abandonment. Pratik was responsible for designing and developing various tools and units for well construction and decommissioning projects. Pratik also conducted FEA and CFD analysis and prepared engineering specifications and documents. Pratik started their career at Rotary Engineering Pte. Ltd. as a Mechanical Engineer, where they performed design calculations and detail engineering for pressure vessels and storage tanks.

Overall, Pratik Nayek has a strong background in engineering and project management, with expertise in multiple industries such as hydrogen, chemical, industrial gas, drilling, and mechanical equipment.

Pratik Nayek, CEng MIMechE, holds a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Robert Gordon University, which was obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from RV College Of Engineering in 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Chartered Engineer designation from both the Engineering Council and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2018. Pratik also received a certification in Numerical Simulation in Engineering with ANSYS - CFD Analysis from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2015. In 2020, they completed the Air Liquide Essential for Management and Leadership program from DDI | Development Dimensions International.
