Ren-Hau Lai

Ren-Hau Lai currently serves as the VP of Innovation and R&D at RYZE since June 2025. Prior to this role, Ren-Hau was the Senior Director of Innovation and Product Development at Athletic Greens from June 2023 to May 2025 and Head of Research and Development at Supergut between April 2019 and May 2023. Additional experience includes positions as Director at goop.com, Senior Product Development Manager at Beachbody, Senior Scientist at Mead Johnson Nutrition, and Senior Scientist I at General Mills. Ren-Hau began as an International Business Manager at Davisco Foods International, Inc. and also worked as a Professional Nutrition Consultant at Life Touch Nutrition Technology. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Nutritional Sciences and Interdisciplinary Environmental Toxicology Program from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, a Master of Engineering in Construction Management from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Engineering from National Central University.
