Michael Zabel, POPM

Michael Zabel has over 14 years of professional experience in Product Management, Interactive Design, Digital Design, and Graphic Design. From 2021 to present, they have served as a Product Manager for S-Docs. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Product Manager and Interactive Designer for Entertainment Promotions, where their responsibilities included conducting user surveys and business stakeholder interviews, analyzing user data and user feedback to develop data-driven, goal-oriented product features, delivering concise requirements documentation, wire-frames, design mockups, and prototypes, defining product strategies and roadmaps, evaluating competitive landscape, and leading cross-functional communication between engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Senior Designer and Designer for Magnetic, where their responsibilities included producing custom display ads, on-site integration, and HTML emails, consulting and advising clients on design industry best practices, managing marketing project workflow, and developing groundbreaking, simulated client business model concepts and visuals. From 2007 to 2013, they were an Independent Illustration & Design Professional, where their responsibilities included conceiving and producing websites, communicating with numerous clients to create visual solutions, and performing updates and maintenance procedures. From 2006 to 2007, they were an In-House Graphic Designer and Web Editor for The Metro Shopper.

Michael Zabel, POPM, obtained a BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies between 2003 and 2007. Michael also holds a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in April 2021.
