Prajwal Basnet

Prajwal Basnet, MSc., is an experienced environmental planner currently contracting with S.i. Systems for TC Energy since July 2022. With a strong background in environmental and regulatory compliance from Clear Environmental Solutions, where responsibilities spanned from October 2013 to July 2022, Prajwal also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan, facilitating courses related to human geography and environmental management from September 2011 to June 2013. Additionally, during a research assistantship at the same university, Prajwal developed an online survey for watershed management evaluation and engaged with various stakeholders. Past experience includes a program officer role at Habitat for Humanity Nepal, overseeing international build projects, and a research assistant position at Kathmandu University, focusing on environmental thesis data analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University.
