Daniel Fernández Raventós

Daniel Fernández Raventós is a seasoned sport scientist with extensive experience in the field of sports performance and analytics. Currently serving as a Sport Scientist at Sport Lisboa e Benfica since July 2024, Daniel previously held a similar role at FC Barcelona from July 2016 to June 2024, specializing in coaching and R coding for sport science applications. Prior to these positions, Daniel worked as a Statistical and Data Analyst at Biwel Salud Empresarial, where responsibilities included the acquisition and analysis of data related to e-health and physical activity. Additionally, Daniel has experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Club Esportiu Vendrell and Club Futbol Igualada, focusing on fitness coordination and injury prevention. Daniel holds a Doctor's Degree in Ciencias del deporte from Universitat de Barcelona and a Master of Science in High Performance in Team Sports from Byomedic System.
