Anni Hiekkanen

Anni Hiekkanen serves as Senior Vice President at OP Financial Group since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading a team of approximately 50 individuals, developing and implementing the Communication Strategy, and enhancing employee experience (EX) and employer branding (EB). Anni has also significantly contributed to reputation management and stakeholder relations, founded "oranssi aalto," and developed the Employee Ambassador program to strengthen OP Group's societal impact. Previously, Anni held the position of Chief Communications Officer at LähiTapiola, overseeing a comprehensive renewal of group communications aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Anni's earlier roles include Chief Press Officer and Vice President at Nordea, where media relations and crisis communication were pivotal, as well as positions at If and the Helsinki Police Department, focusing on communications and media engagement. Anni holds a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor's degree from Coventry University.
