Erik Hedlin

Erik Hedlin is a seasoned data professional currently serving as Senior Data Analyst at SSENSE since December 2022. As Lead Data Scientist and Co-Founder at Signal Analytics since January 2020, Erik specializes in automating image processing with deep learning, deploying models on edge devices, and leading project teams through various phases of development. Previous experience includes a tenure as Senior Data Analyst at 7shifts and Research Associate at the Nunavut Wildlife Cooperative Research Unit, where Erik managed data-driven research, developed grant proposals, and mentored graduate students. Erik holds a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan.
