DevOps Engineer at S1Gateway

Leandro Verdún has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps Engineering. Leandro started their career as a Técnico informático at 7 Espejos Desarrollos Web y Multimedia in 2005, where they managed accounts, performed billing, and administered servers. Leandro also worked as a Técnico informático at Onda2001 in 2009, providing technical support and implementing Google Docs for internal administration.

Leandro then joined the Ministry of Education of the Province of Buenos Aires in 2004 as a Técnico informático, where they were responsible for configuring routers, switches, and cable infrastructure. In 2009, they moved to the Ministry of Education of the Nación as a Sysadmin, where they played a key role in the migration of server operating systems and the implementation of VPN and monitoring systems.

Leandro's next role was as a DevOps Engineer at Vibra Gaming in 2019, where they were involved in the design and implementation of the company's infrastructure on AWS. Leandro managed Kubernetes, implemented and administered Pfsense, and automated the creation of OpenVPN clients for the company's gaming terminals. Leandro also contributed to the implementation of cloud-to-on-premises networks and the creation of a Zabbix monitoring system.

In 2021, Leandro joined Rand Labs as a DevOps Engineer, specializing in twelve-factor development, AWS, and Wireguard. Currently, they are working as a DevOps Engineer at S1Gateway, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Leandro has gained experience in various areas of DevOps and infrastructure management, demonstrating their expertise and adaptability in different organizations.

Leandro Verdún completed their education at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral from 2019 to 2021, where they pursued a Tecnicatura en Software Libre degree in Informática. In addition to their formal education, Leandro obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2018, they completed the "Docker, de principiante a experto" course at Udemy and the "Implementación de servidores con Centos Linux" course, also at Udemy. Leandro also obtained the certification of "Linux System Administrator" from CLA Carrera Linux Argentina and "Linux System Administrator - UTN" from UTN Facultad Regional Delta, both in 2018. In 2016, Leandro completed the "Carrera Linux ASL" and "Tecnicatura Linux SysAdmin Expert" courses at Linux College. In 2015, they obtained the "Red Hat System Administration II" certification from Red Hat. In 2014, Leandro completed the "LCSS - Networking TCP-IP" course at CLA Instituto Linux, and in 2013, they obtained certifications in "Administrador Linux" and "Seguridad de la Información" from Exentia.
