Scott Fosdal

Scott Fosdal is the current Field Testing & Compliance Officer at S2 Corporation. Prior to this, they served as Chief of Staff for the Directorate for Command & Control, Communications, Computers/Cyber at The Joint Staff from January 2011 to June 2014. In this role, Scott was responsible for coordinating and collaborating across 12 functional divisions of a 800 person staff. Scott also participated in executive level decisions regarding the re-organization, primary functions and resourcing for the Directorate.

From November 2009 to December 2010, Scott attended the U.S. Naval War College as a student. Scott was awarded a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies with highest distinction upon completion of the program.

Scott began their career as an Instructor at The Basic School from March 1994 to September 1996. Scott then served as Chief of Staff for Operations at United States Marine Corps from August 2014 to October 2018. Lastly, they served as Infantry Battalion Commander at United States Marine Corps from October 1996 to October 2009.

Scott Fosdal holds a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Texas A&M University. Scott also has certifications from LinkedIn in Word 2019 Essential Training, Project Management Simplified, and Strategic Thinking.
