Heather McPherson

Heather McPherson is a Senior Associate at Builders Vision, supporting the integration of impact measurement and management across the S2G Ventures, Builders Initiative and Builders Asset Management investment portfolios.

She joins the Builders Vision impact platform from SJF Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in high-growth, positive impact companies driving a healthier, smarter, and cleaner future. At SJF, she focused on impact measurement, management, and acceleration initiatives across SJF's portfolio. Prior to SJF, she helped launch Harvard Global Institute, a university-wide philanthropic initiative to fund innovative, interdisciplinary scholarship on pressing global issues such as climate change and public health. Her previous work involved nonprofit management and international development, including one year with a maternal and child health project in Timor-Leste.

Heather earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and graduated from Carleton College with a BA in English Literature.
