Ken Kastner has extensive work experience in various engineering and managerial roles. In 1990, they worked as a Plant Engineer at REHAU Americas, where they managed various engineering functions and supported new product introductions. From 1996 to 2000, they served as the Plastics Honeycomb Core - Business Unit Manager at Plascore Inc., where they were responsible for operational results and achieved significant sales growth. Starting in 2000, they joined Concept Industries as a Product Development Engineer, focusing on the design, development, and introduction of new products. Ken also led capital projects and published engineering deliverables for multiple program launches. In 2016, they became the Corporate Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Corvac Composites, LLC, before joining SA Automotive in 2017 as a Project Engineer.
Ken Kastner earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Lake Michigan College from 1983 to 1985. Ken then went on to attend the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Western Michigan University from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering - Plastics option.
