Mark Saxon

Mark Saxon currently serves as the Chief of External Affairs at Satellite Applications Catapult, a position held since November 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Communications at Genomics plc from May 2021 to November 2023, and as Director of Communications for EMEA at Gallup from November 2019 to May 2021. Mark held the role of Head of Public Affairs GB at The Coca-Cola Company between May 2014 and October 2019, and worked at Hanover from March 2008 to April 2014, progressing from Director to Senior Account Director. Earlier roles include Account Director at Shire Health PR and Senior Account Manager at Huntsworth Health. Mark began a career in publishing as Editor/New Business Manager at PJB Publications/Informa, overseeing several medical journals. Academically, Mark earned a PhD in Genetics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Genetics from Swansea University.
