William Birch currently serves as the Strategic Account Director: Space at the Satellite Applications Catapult since February 2022, following a role as Senior Business Development Manager. Additionally, William holds the position of Vice-Chair on the Associate Member Council at GSOA since January 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Head of Strategy & Investment at First Longevity, where a key achievement was facilitating the UK’s first Longevity IPO for Genflow Bioscience. William also engaged in business consulting for various companies from May 2018 to March 2020 and previously worked as a Senior Consultant at Henderson Scott and a Business Strategist at Kennedy Scott Ltd. William completed education at King's College London from 2013 to 2016 and attended Berkhamsted Collegiate School.
