David A. Stevenson has a long and diverse work experience in the horse racing industry. David A. started their career at Arlington Park & Assiniboia Downs as a Racing Secretary, Steward, and Marketing Director. David A. then moved on to the Ontario Racing Commission as an Appointed Provincial Steward. Stevenson later joined the Ontario Jockey Club as Manager of Racing and Operations, where they developed the Canadian International Championship into a prestigious event. David A. also served as Vice President/Shareholder/Trainer at Kinghaven Farms, Vice President at Fasig-Tipton, and President at Sovereign Thoroughbreds, Inc. Stevenson joined the New York Racing Association as Director of Racing and Vice President, and implemented several changes and computerized the racing department. David A. was a Consultant at Humber College and the Japan Racing Association, where they played a key role in the development of the Japan Cup. Finally, Stevenson established their own company, Stevenson & Associates, Inc., focused on expanding racetrack revenue sources and recognition.

David A. Stevenson started their education in 1964 at Reese Howell Enterprises, where they pursued a degree in multi turbine high altitude aircraft. Their field of study was Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. David A. does not have a specific end year mentioned for this program. Additionally, they attended the University of Toronto for a period of time, although the start and end years are not provided.
