Matthew Pritchard has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matthew started their career at Stratco Australia in 2008 as an Application Support Specialist, providing high-level user support for server-based applications and generating reports for management. In 2009, they joined ElectraNet Pty Ltd as a Service Desk Analyst, where they provided user support and maintained system accounts and backups. Matthew later became a Business Analyst, working on large-scale capital projects and providing third-level support for enterprise systems. Since 2014, Matthew has been with SA Power Networks, where they have held various roles including Senior Business Analyst, IT Delivery Capability Manager, Digital Transformation Manager, and currently, Head of IT Strategy.

Matthew Pritchard obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Flinders University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of South Australia. Alongside their formal education, Matthew also obtained several additional certifications. In 2016, they earned the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance, as well as the Principles of Lean Thinking certification from the University of South Australia. In 2014, they obtained the SOA with Purpose certification from Software AG and the Certificate IV in Public Safety from Australasian Fire and Safety. In 2013, they earned the Advanced Better Business Analysis and Successful Workshopping and Facilitation certifications from Mantra Australia Pty Ltd.
