Nathan Morelli

Nathan Morelli has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT resilience. Nathan is currently the Head of Cyber Security and IT Resilience (CISO) at SA Power Networks, where they oversee the company's efforts in maintaining and upgrading the electricity distribution infrastructure.

Nathan has also been involved in various advisory roles and committees. Nathan is a member of the Global Customer Advisory Board at CrowdStrike, the Customer Council at Proofpoint, and the Customer Advisory Board - Security at Splunk. Additionally, they serve as a member of the Finance, Risk, and Audit Committee at the Australian Institute of Advanced Technologies, a higher education provider focused on work-ready graduates in the digital advanced technologies field.

In the past, Nathan has worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at NAVAL GROUP AUSTRALIA and as the Director of the Australian Cyber Security Centre - Adelaide at the Australian Cyber Security Centre. Nathan has also held the position of Member, Privacy Committee of South Australia at the Attorney General's Department.

Furthermore, Nathan has contributed to the Australian Information Security Association as a Branch Executive and the University of South Australia's Business Career Mentor Program as a mentor.

Nathan Morelli completed their secondary education at Cardijn College from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained their SACE certificate. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Information Systems at the University of South Australia from 2000 to 2005.
