Nicholas Aplin

Nicholas Aplin is a Graduate Data Scientist at SA Power Networks since August 2022, where key achievements include the development of a clustering algorithm for predictive analytics and extensive corrosion data analysis that optimized inspection schedules, resulting in a 15% reduction in workload without increasing failure risk. Previously, Nicholas held the position of Undergraduate Data Scientist, utilizing computer vision and AI technologies to enhance operational efficiencies, including a project focused on document analysis that improved searchability within the organization.
