SAAAC Autism Centre
Neshanth Shanmugalingam is an experienced professional in the field of autism and mental health, currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at SAAAC Autism Centre since August 2012. Neshanth has held multiple leadership roles including Director of Children's Services and Director of Mental Health Services, where responsibilities include managing the SAAAC Cares Program and serving as the lead counsellor. Additionally, Neshanth has experience as a Program Manager, focusing on program management and curriculum implementation, as well as working as an ABA Therapist providing tailored therapy to children with autism. Prior to SAAAC, Neshanth worked as an Instructor Therapist at 1to1 Therapy Services implementing Intensive Behavior Intervention programming. Neshanth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health Studies from the University of Toronto and an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science from Seneca Polytechnic.

The SAAAC Autism Centre is a registered charity based in Toronto principally formed to aid and empower newcomer and low-income families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In support of its primary mission of increasing access to ASD services to underserved communities, SAAAC engages in a wide range of advocacy and awareness building initiatives, in addition to providing free and subsidized programs for the benefit of individuals and families.
