SAAAC Autism Centre
Rusiga Gunaselvam is an experienced Instructor Therapist currently working at SAAAC Autism Centre since May 2021, with prior experience at Breakthrough Autism and Skills for Change. Rusiga has a strong background in supporting individuals with autism, having also held roles as a Social Service Assistant and Placement Student, where duties included observing therapists, making materials, and organizing classrooms. Early experience includes working as a Camp Counsellor at Open Mind Alliance Academy and Pedalheads Bike Camps Inc., focusing on assisting children and developing engaging activities. Education includes a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arcadia University, a Certificate in Autism Behavioural Science from George Brown College, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Health Studies from the University of Toronto Scarborough.

The SAAAC Autism Centre is a registered charity based in Toronto principally formed to aid and empower newcomer and low-income families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In support of its primary mission of increasing access to ASD services to underserved communities, SAAAC engages in a wide range of advocacy and awareness building initiatives, in addition to providing free and subsidized programs for the benefit of individuals and families.
