Husam Balas

Husam Balas currently serves as the Head of Education and Content at Saal.ai since March 2021. In addition, Husam is a book author with publications in 2015 titled "Leadership & Ethics" and "Practical Leadership." Husam has extensive experience in course design for the UAE Air Force and Air Defence since December 2014, while also serving as a Program Coordinator at Afad since February 2014, and an instructor training leadership and management since January 2013 for the government. As a freelancer since April 2012, Husam trains individuals in leadership, HR, and management through CERT UAE. Prior roles include ELM Supervisor at AFADI from July 2018 to March 2021, managing a news and social website from June to December 2012, and serving as a Liaison Officer for the UN from June 2008 to January 2009. Husam holds a Master's degree in Leadership Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso, obtained in July 2007.
