Erik R also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Neolitics, an Optical Spectroscopy company, where they were involved in offering analytical solutions to various sectors. Additionally, they worked as the Chief Operations Officer at Hindsight Imaging, leading all aspects of technology, product development, engineering, manufacturing, and operations.

During their time at Vassar College, Erik dedicated their studies to several subjects, including physics, computer science, math, and economics. Following their undergraduate studies, Erik embarked on further academic advancement at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1996 to 2002. With a strong emphasis on Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, they successfully earned their Ph.D. degree.
