Stephan Thönnißen

Stephan Thönnißen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently, Stephan serves as Co-Founder and Managing Director at foom since October 2023 and as a Business Angel at Saarbrücker21 since April 2022. Prior to these positions, Stephan was Chief Commercial Officer at Berlin Brands Group from March 2017 to April 2022 and Chief Operating Officer at nu3 GmbH from May 2013 to February 2017, overseeing warehousing, customer service, and payment operations. Stephan also held the position of Director of Operations at Home24 from July 2011 to April 2013 and worked as a Business Developer International at GROUPON-CITY DEAL in early 2011. Starting a career in business development at Rocket Internet GmbH from September 2008 to January 2011, Stephan holds a Master of Science in Business from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
