Alvaro Jimenez Gradillas

Alvaro Jimenez Gradillas is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as Head of Innovation at SaarGummi Group since March 2013, focusing on innovative technologies for manufacturing rubber sealing parts. Prior roles at SaarGummi include Industrial Engineering and Product & Cost Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed technical specifications and cost estimations for extrusion processes. Alvaro participated in the SaarGummi Continuous Improvement Program and contributed to R&D projects at the Technical University of Madrid, developing a multistage fluidized bed reactor for biomass gasification. Additionally, Alvaro managed the Powertrain Division for the UPM Racing Team and was awarded an Excellence University Scholarship for work on a four-stroke internal combustion engine project. Alvaro holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's in Automotive Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Instituto Universitario de Investigación del Automóvil, respectively.
