Tim Schumacher has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and companies. Tim is currently the Managing General Partner at World Fund. Prior to this, they co-founded saas.group, a company focused on acquiring and elevating promising SaaS companies. In 2011, they became an investor through TS Ventures GmbH, making startup investments in companies such as Eyeo.com, Ecosia.org, and Pachama. Tim also co-founded and served as the Chairman of Eyeo GmbH, the leading company in protecting users from annoying advertising through ad-blocking software. Additionally, they were a member of the Board of Directors at Sedo.com from 2012 to 2014. Before that, Tim was the CEO and Co-Founder of Sedo.com, a global marketplace for domain names and websites, with offices in Cologne, Germany, and Boston, USA.

Tim Schumacher attended Friedrich-Gymnasium in Freiburg from 1986 to 1995. In 1992, they participated in a High School Exchange Year at Woodinville High School. From 1997 to 2001, they studied Business Administration and Management at the University of Cologne, earning an MBA degree. Additionally, in 1999-2000, Schumacher pursued further studies in Finance and Entrepreneurship, obtaining a Master in Finance degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
