Sebastian Badea

Sebastian Badea has a wealth of work experience in the technology and venture capital industries. Sebastian began their career in 2005 as a Senior Analyst in Technology Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers. From 2007 to 2010, they held the role of Associate in Venture Capital at TeleSoft Partners, where they identified potential investments, met with management teams, and authored investment memoranda. In 2010, they completed an MBA Internship at The Walt Disney Company as a Manager of Strategy and Business Development. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Manager of Business Development and Alliances at Symantec. Sebastian then moved on to PubMatic in 2014 as a Senior Manager of Corporate and Business Development. In 2017, they joined Cengage as a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, before becoming the Head of Global Partner Development at Matterport in 2019. In 2022, they took on the role of Head of Real Estate Partnerships at SaaS Labs.

Sebastian Badea has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The Wharton School with a focus on Strategic Management, a Graduate Diploma from UC San Diego in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science - BS from UC San Diego in Mathematical Economics.
