Hua Wu, PhD has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Hua is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Research and Product Development at SAB Biotherapeutics. Prior to this, they held various senior leadership roles at SAB Biotherapeutics, including Senior Vice President of Vaccine & Antibody Development. Dr. Wu's expertise lies in vaccine and antibody development, and they have made significant contributions to the field throughout their career.
Hua Wu, PhD, has a strong education background in the field of biology. Hua first attended Jilin University in China from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at the National Key Enzymology Laboratory, also at Jilin University, from 1986 to 1989. In 1995, Hua Wu enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completing their Ph.D. in Molecular Cellular Biology in 2000. Their doctoral research likely focused on the intricacies of cellular processes. After obtaining their Ph.D., Hua Wu continued their academic journey at Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2004. Their time there allowed their to further expand their knowledge and expertise in the field of Cancer Biology as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Cell Biology.
