Charlotte Hlengiwe

Charlotte Hlengiwe is an experienced news producer currently working at SABC since April 2022. Previously, Charlotte held the role of broadcast journalist at Ikutani FM from November 2021 to August 2025, specializing in producing science stories in isiNdebele. Charlotte also interned as a science journalist at the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (NRF SAASTA) from September 2019 to August 2025, and has experience as a journalist with Media24 Move Magazine starting in January 2019. An early career internship at MPUMALANGA PRESS was completed in June 2018. Charlotte holds a degree from Tshwane University of Technology, obtained between 2016 and 2018.
