Chimene Obi

Chimene Obi has a diverse work experience in various companies. Chimene is currently working as the Head of Agent Network at Sabi, where they oversee the technology platform that supports underserved merchants. Prior to this, they worked at Opera as the Head of Sales and Business Development from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they were employed at Jumia Nigeria for five years, where they held the position of Customer Relationship Management Manager and Sales - Agent Activation/Order Processing Associate. In their role at Jumia, they were responsible for various tasks such as integrating Google analytics, designing and dispatching newsletters, creating web engage banners, managing social media, and providing strategic consulting. Chimene also gained experience as a Wireless Network Engineer at HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO. NIG. LTD in 2011.

Chimene Obi completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at Babcock University Ilishan-Remo Ogun State from 2008 to 2013. Chimene then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Marketing, from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology between 2019 and 2021.
