Brian Bougher

Brian Bougher has over 29 years of experience in the chemical engineering industry, currently serving as Senior Manager for Site Technical at SABIC since April 2005. Responsibilities include overseeing Reliability, Quality, Process Automation, and Process/Project Engineering departments at the Mount Vernon facility. Previous roles at SABIC include Senior Manager of Process Engineering and Lead Process Engineer for a significant $65 million capital project. Bougher has also implemented reliability strategies and conducted root cause failure analysis as a Process Availability Leader. Prior to SABIC, Bougher held various roles at Sunoco, including Operations Manager for a polypropylene production facility, and has a solid foundation in distillation, continuous reaction, and extrusion processes. Bougher holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, earned in 1994.
