Timo Latvakangas

Timo Latvakangas is a seasoned professional in the field of materials science with extensive experience in technical marketing and product development. Currently serving as a Lead Engineer in Technical Marketing at SABIC since January 2011, Timo specializes in application development and provides technical support for customer projects, particularly in high-performance plastics. Prior experience includes roles as Product Owner for Medical grades at Borealis Polyolefine GmbH, managing development projects for medical-grade polypropylene and polyethylene, and as R&D Manager at IonPhasE Oy, where Timo focused on innovative electrostatic dissipative plastics. Timo began a career in research at Tampere University of Technology, where a Master's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Material Science was attained.
