Elizabeth Kohlway

Elizabeth Kohlway serves as the Director of Global Community Engagement & Applied Learning at the Sabin Vaccine Institute, a position held since September 2019, where a new online member engagement platform was launched, attracting 3,000 immunization professionals. Previously, Elizabeth held roles at WomenLift Health, including Senior Manager of Community Building & Digital Engagement and participation in the 2025 Leadership Journey Cohort. From August 2014 to September 2019, Elizabeth worked at the Global Health Council as Senior Manager of External Affairs & Operations, overseeing communications for a nonprofit coalition. Earlier experiences include positions at the International Food Information Council Foundation, Catholic Medical Mission Board, Strauss Media Strategies, Maryland Office of Refugees and Asylees, and the American Public Health Association. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Political Science, English, and African Diaspora from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a Master of Public Health in Global Health and Health Communication from The George Washington University.
