Oliver Garrow is the co-founder and CTO of Sabrewing Aircraft Company since July 2017. Prior to that, they were the president and founder of VTOL Aerospace (formerly Elytron Aircraft LLC) from July 2013 to December 2019. Before that, they held the role of president and founder at Garrow Aircraft LLC (Verticopter) from March 2008 to July 2013.

Oliver Garrow's education history consists of several academic and training experiences.

In 1986 to 1988, they attended Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they pursued a degree in BSEE electro-mechanical and controls. Oliver then went on to attend and graduate from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications from 1990 to 1992. During their time at this institution, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Sciences and Digital Electronics.

In 1992, Oliver Garrow briefly joined the University of York for a research thesis in Transputer Parallel Computing, with a focus on RF modeling, 3D EM propagation, and optimization for Parallel Computing.

Moving forward to 2008, they attended a Martin Hollmann seminar focused on Aircraft Design using Finite Element Methods.

In 2011, Oliver Garrow enrolled in the Composites and Fabric Covering Workshops at Sportair Academy.

Additionally, in 2013, they participated in various workshops and training programs. These included the SolidWorks CAD Essentials and Advanced training at Hawk Ridge Systems, the SolidWorks Flow Simulation workshop at Hawk Ridge Systems, and the TIG Welding workshop at Techshop Bay Area.

Overall, their educational background encompasses a diverse range of fields such as computer sciences, digital electronics, aircraft design, and various workshops and training sessions for enhancing their skillset.
