Todd Koolakian

Director, Philanthropy at Sacramento Children's Home

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Todd moved to Sacramento in 2011 as a fundraising consultant for the Diocese of Sacramento. Before relocating, he obtained his degree from Providence College and worked in the College’s Advancement Department, his first opportunity in the philanthropy field. After graduating, Todd consulted on various fundraising projects across the country, raising funds for schools, churches, and other capital projects. He became the Director of Philanthropy for the Sacramento Children’s Home in 2014, and today oversees fundraising, events, donor relations, grant acquisitions, marketing, and three auxiliaries. He believes in the impactful work the Home does and enjoys the opportunity to work in the community, meet area leaders and donors, raise money for the important programs, and spread awareness about the great work SCH does. Todd enjoys skiing, spending time outdoors, and traveling with his partner.
