Alexis Aragon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with extensive experience in various mental health roles. Currently serving as a School-Based Mental Health and Wellness Clinician at the Sacramento County Office of Education since July 2022, Alexis also operates a private practice since October 2015. Previous positions include Clinical Manager at It Takes The Village, Family Support Program Director at FACES SF, and School-Based Therapist at Alameda Family Services. Additional experience includes roles as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern/Mental Health Program Supervisor at Youth Justice Institute and as an MFT Intern at the Community Health Awareness Council. Alexis holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern University. Prior to a career in mental health, Alexis worked as a Make-up and Skin Care Consultant at Nordstrom.

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. Approximately 650 regular and more than 950 temporary and substitute SCOE staff work year-round providing services which complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, legal and financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.
