Pablo Pineda has over 15 years of experience in human resources and labor relations. Pablo has served as a Human Resources Director at Sacramento Drilling, Inc. since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Consultant at Human Leap, HR Consulting from 2012 to the present, providing technical expertise on labor laws and offering human capital management advisory services to small businesses. From 2016 to 2019, they were an HR Manager at Smithfield Foods, where they provided leadership and support in various HR areas. Pablo also held roles as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Duravent Group from 2022 to 2023 and a Labor Relations Manager at Northrop Grumman from 2019 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Chief Resources Officer at River Partners from 2020 to 2022 and as a Labor Relations Representative at the County of Santa Clara from 2007 to 2016. Throughout their career, Pablo has been involved in employee relations, compliance with labor laws, performance management, talent identification, and HR strategy implementation, among other areas.
Pablo Pineda holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C.
In terms of additional certifications, Pablo Pineda obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in October 2021. Pablo also achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in August 2020. Additionally, they hold the CALPELRA Labor Relations Academy Master certification (CLRM) from CALPELRA, earned in 2009. Furthermore, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in March 2019.
