Oscar Garza

Oscar Garza, MS, ATC, CSCS, currently serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Performance Coach for the Sacramento Kings since September 2023. Previously, Oscar held the position of Head Athletic Trainer for the South Bay Lakers, overseeing player health, rehabilitation, and coordination of medical examinations. With experience at organizations such as the RGV Vipers and CAPITANES, Oscar has developed strong expertise in injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning program design. Oscar also contributed to athletic training education at Texas A&M International University and Los Fresnos High School, emphasizing athlete health and safety standards. Oscar holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from The University of Texas at Austin.
