Tom Perry

Tom Perry is an experienced data science and analytics professional with a strong background in the sports industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Data Science & Planning for the Sacramento Kings since May 2025, Tom has previously held key roles such as Senior Director of Basketball Products & Insights at Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. from May 2021 to May 2025, and Director of Data Science & Solutions for the Oklahoma City Thunder from January 2016 to May 2021. Earlier in Tom's career, significant contributions were made as a Data Engineer/Project Lead at Yelp from December 2012 to January 2016. Tom holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Master of Science in Computational Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
