Jessica Sanders

Jessica Sanders, PhD, PMP, currently serves as Executive Director of Sacramento Tree Foundation since December 2020. Prior experience includes positions at Casey Trees, where roles encompassed Director of Science and Policy and Director of Technical Services and Research from July 2012 to December 2020. Academic background features a PhD in Ecology and Evolution with a focus on Urban Forestry from Rutgers University, where additional roles included NSF STEM K-12 Fellow and various fellowships aimed at enhancing teaching methodologies and doctoral student preparation for academic roles. Jessica also held a teaching assistantship at Rutgers, overseeing training and orientation for new teaching assistants. Early experience includes serving as a Resident Assistant at Richard Stockton College.
