Demone Carter

Demone Carter is an experienced professional in community engagement and arts leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Special Events and Director of Community Engagement at Sacred Heart Community Service since January 2020, Demone has previously held significant roles including Program Manager at the School of Arts and Culture at MHP from July 2011 to January 2020, where responsibilities included facilitating the Multicultural Arts Leadership Institute for individuals of color in the arts sector. As the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Future Arts Now from 2011 to November 2016, and as a Program Manager at Unity Care's Hip Hop 360 from February 2004 to June 2011, Demone has demonstrated a commitment to fostering connections within diverse communities and enhancing the arts ecosystem in the Bay Area.
