Sacred Heart Mission

Since opening our doors in 1982 to share a meal with the most vulnerable members of the community, we have evolved into an independent non-profit organisation renowned for effectively helping thousands of people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives. At the heart of everything we do, we recognise everybody is unique. No matter where people are in their journey, we are here to support them and we do not give up. Everyone is welcome at our table. Our research, policy and advocacy work aim to address the underlying causes of deep, persistent disadvantage throughout Australia. Vision Our vision is of an inclusive, fair and compassionate community, which enables people to overcome disadvantage and realise their full potential. Mission Our Mission is to build people's capacity to participate more fully in community life, by addressing the underlying causes of deep, persistent disadvantage and social exclusion.
